Boss Town

The Boston Marathon – for many a lifetime achievement, for others a tough nut to crack. A net-downhill course with hills at literally the worst possible spot, this race holds a unique lore in running circles.

It’s special, no doubt, but it can also be beautifully brutal. Regardless of what the day serves up for those on the starting line, you know that each town the race runs through is going to come out and show up, culminating with the insane energy on Boylston.
